The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and the Nasdaq Composite posted losses on Wednesday, according to CNBC.

  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 85.19 points, or 0.30 percent, to close at 27,692.88.
  • The S&P 500 fell 0.40 percent to close at 3,374.85.
  • The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.60 percent to close at 11,146.46.

The Fed released its July minutes and stated that “the ongoing public health crisis would weigh heavily on economic activity, employment, and inflation in the near term and was posing considerable risks to the economic outlook over the medium term.” The market fell not long after.
