The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and Nasdaq Composite surged on Tuesday.

• The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 475.57 points or 1.57 percent, to close at 30,687.48.
• The S&P 500 gained 1.39 percent to close at 3,826.31.
• The Nasdaq Composite gained 1.56 percent to close at 13,612.78.

Markets continued to surge after Wall Street grew less worried about the flurry of retail traders.
