The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and the Nasdaq Composite all gained on Tuesday, according to CNBC.

  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 164.07 points, or 0.62 percent, to close at 26,828.47.
  • The S&P 500 gained 0.36 percent to close at 3,306.51.
  • The Nasdaq Composite gained 0.35 percent to close at 10,941.17.

Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated that she doesn't believe a new coronavirus stimulus bill will be passed this week. The main issue lies with the additional unemployment assistance. However, both parties have agreed on another $1,200 stimulus check.

Apple gained 0.67 percent and Netflix gained 2.21 percent, while most other tech companies in the Nasdaq retreated.

Tomorrow, CVS Health, Moderna, and Roku will report earnings.
