Tesla Temporarily Surpassed Toyota As Largest Automaker

Tesla temporarily surpassed Toyota as the world’s most valuable automaker. Tesla’s stocks were at a record high at over $1,000 per share, according to a report by Money Control.
Now, Tesla’s stock is around $975, which dropped them out of the top spot.
In a leaked email, CEO Elon Musk hinted at plans to ramp up production for his highly anticipated semi-truck, although an exact timeframe was not given. When asked on Twitter if the report of the email was accurate, Musk responded, “yes”.
The plans for an electric semi-truck were first released in 2017.
In addition to car sales, Tesla also brings in revenue from their growing energy unit and their automotive approach.
