US stock futures rose on Sunday night as the market prepared to retake gains from last week's sell-off.

Futures rose slightly after the significant sell-off last week.

“Bond market volatility surged to its highest level since April and until some calm and some new peak level of yields is found, this well be the key focus for investors,” Jim Paulsen, The Leuthold Group chief investment strategist, said.

  • Dow futures rose 192 points or 0.62 percent
  • S&P 500 futures rose 0.75 percent
  • Nasdaq futures rose 0.87 percent.
