Large Tech Companies Might Be Overhauling Execs In Near Future
Some of the largest names in the technology industry might have new faces leading their firms in the near future, according to The Economist.
In the past few months, there have been some serious changes at large tech companies. On January 30, IBM announced that Arvind Krishna will be taking the reigns from Ginni Rometry in April. Not long after, Sandeep Mathrani became the CEO of WeWork.
Back towards the end of 2019, Alphabet founders Larry Page and Sergei Brin stepped down and passed the torch to Sundar Pichai. There is increasing speculation regarding other companies making changes to their top leadership.
Even those considered untouchable are under question, such as Apple's Tim Cook. Tim Cook has been with the company for almost a decade. There has been a large push for diversification among corporate boards and executives.
