Here's Everything You Need to Know About the Electric Ford F-150
Here are all the details regarding the best-selling Ford F-150 going electric, according to MarketWatch.
Ford has done significant testing with its electric vehicle capabilities, specifically pertaining to the F-150. The F-150 EV is expected to look similar to the new 2021 F-150 that goes on sale later this year.
The F-150 EV is expected to cost around $55,000, but nothing has been confirmed from Ford. Consumers can expect multiple variations of the F-150 with price ranges varying for fleet and luxury shoppers.
Production of the F-150 EV will start in mid-2022 at the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan. The truck should go on sale sometime after that date.
The F-150 EV will allow consumers to significantly save on fuel. Furthermore, the truck is expected to have the most torque, horsepower, and quickest acceleration of any F-150 ever. The truck will come with a towing package and can be set up as a mobile power generator.
Additionally, the truck will have a front trunk storage area in place of where the engine would typically be.
