CEC Entertainment Inc. Names New Chief Executive
On Tuesday, CEC Entertainment Inc. named David McKillips as the new Chief Executive of the company, according to Nation's Restaurant News.
CEC Entertainment is the parent company to Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza family entertainment brands. Mr. McKillips' position is effective immediately as he succeeds Tom Leverton after he resigned after serving five years as the CEO.
McKillips has extensive experience in the family restaurants and entertainment industry. He is coming from his position at Six Flags Entertainment Corp. where he was the president of the international development company where he managed all properties outside the US.
“He has demonstrated an ability to drive revenue growth through innovation, marketing, licensing, improved operations and corporate partnerships, which are skills that make him the ideal candidate to lead CEC into its next phase of growth,” said Andrew Jhawar, CEC chairman and senior partner at Apollo Global Management Inc., the owner of the brand.
