AirBnb and Doordash Are Seeking Higher Valuation for IPOs
On Monday, it was reported that Airbnb and DoorDash are looking to secure higher valuation for their IPOS in December, according to MarketsInsider.
Airbnb is looking to secure a valuation between $30 and $33 billion prior to its investor roadshow on Tuesday. The company was previously targeting a $30 billion valuation.
DoorDash is looking at a range of between $25 and $28 billion prior to its investor roadshow on Monday. The company was previously targeting a $25 billion valuation.
The per-share price ranges have not been disclosed for either company. Both companies are anticipated to IPO in mid-December, during a year that has severely impacted business models and revenue forecasts.
Despite the pandemic, 2020 has been a historic year for IPOs on US exchanges. More than $140 billion has been raised through 383 public offerings this year. The previous record was set in 1999, during the dot-com bubble.
