Pastor: If Trump Is Removed From Office, Democrats Will Be "Hunted Down"
A pro-Trump pastor warned on Tuesday that there will “be violence in America” if President Donald Trump is removed from office, according to Newsweek, adding that Democrats will be “hunted down” for their actions.
"If they take him [Trump] out, there's gonna be violence in America," Rick Wiles said on his TruNews program. "That's all there is to it.”
"However he leaves, there's gonna be violence in America," the Christian leader continued. "I believe there are people in this country, veterans, there are cowboys, mountain men, I mean guys that know how to fight, and they're going to make a decision that people who did this to Donald Trump are not gonna get away with it."
"And they're gonna hunt them down," he said.
It will be Democrats’ own fault if they are harmed, Wiles added: "The Trump supporters are going to hunt them down. It's going to happen and this country is going to be plunged into darkness and they brought it upon themselves because they won't back off."
The country has seen an uptick in threats of violence if Trump is removed from office, as the House’s impeachment inquiry seems to reveal more damning information about the president’s shady dealings with Ukraine each week.
Last month, Trump himself tweeted a quote from another conservative pastor warning of a “Civil War like fracture” if he is removed from office.
