Reverend Stephen Morris faces 10 felony counts relating to his alleged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl.

North Carolina pastor Stephen Morris was charged last week for sex crimes involving a 13-year-old girl, according to local news outlet ABC 11.

The 61-year-old reverend was arrested Friday on 10 felony counts, which included “five counts of statutory rape and five counts of taking indecent liberties with a child” for his abuse of the girl between June 2013 and June 2014.

His victim, now 19, reported the abuse to police last month.

Morris has since been relieved of his position at Oliver's Grove Baptist Church and is currently in the Johnston County jail under a $2.5 million bond, according to the report.
