Marriage rates have been on the decline since the 1970s, and during the same time period, second and third wave feminism have done their best to rid women of their domesticity and delegitimatize traditional family values and gender roles.
Some feminists will fiercely refute the accusation that feminism is turning women away from marriage, but if you ask me, the data speaks for itself.

There is something to be said for people who wait to have children later in life. They usually have more money to spend on their children and are more mature, which makes them better parents. I see this trend as positive for future generations!
