If you haven't been keeping up with Imam Tawhidi, you definitely should. He represents a form of moderate Islam that's compatible with the West, and I think we should all do more to lift up voices like his. He's outspoken against radicalism, and takes a very pragmatic approach to ISIS and terrorism.

@contributor77 So true. Patriarchy is nothing special in this world, and the West certainly has its own history with it, but the level of control and violence pushed by Islam in this current day is unparalleled.

Let's say someone is Muslim and murders his wife because she had an affair. In Sharia court, he'll have to make a plea to the judge about why it was ok to kill his wife. Then, based on jurisprudence and about every Sharia textbook, he will most likely be declared not guilty.

Even in India until last year, if a Muslim wanted to divorce, the only thing he had to do was tell her "Talaq" three times. They call this triple Talaq (triple divorce).

Most societies have been biased in the advantage of men in the past, but when it comes to Islam, the balance goes like 99.9% on the men side. It's crazy.

Another thing, maybe I'm wrong but I believe that most men who gets radicalized in Western countries, leaving for Syria or Libya, are kissless virgins. That would explain a lot.

Algerian youtuber Aldo Sterone regularly translates passages from popular islamic textbooks for his audience. That Jamal Rifi guy is completely fucking wrong or lying when he says Islam does not teach the killing of infidels. Just one example, Sterone once talked about a fable that parents in Algeria commonly tell to their children which goes like this:

You've got a Muslim and a big rock (sometimes it's a tree). Suddenly the rock speaks and says:
" Muslim, there is a Jew hidden behind me. Kill him!"
That's it. I mean what a sick fuck story to tell to children! And Algeria is actually one of the lesser radicalized Muslim country.
