Since you've previously stated that you grew up in China, I've always been curious to know if the Chinese have a negative opinion of the Japanese for the atrocities committed in the second world war?
So its not just China but most of Asia? I understand why both Korea and China would, but what reason does Vietman have? Are the Japanese still seen as the brutal occupiors of Asia?
I've had vietnamese girlfriends who hated the japanese too, and Pinoys/pinays in my experience feel about the japanese about like irish do toward english
In my experience, the Chinese, like many Asian countries, do have very negative feelings toward the Japanese. The sentiment isn't as strong in Hong Kong as it is in the mainland though, and in both cases the Chinese are nowhere near as anti-Japanese as the Koreans (understandably).
