Roaming, where do you stand on the second amendment and concepts like nationwide reciprocity of conceal carry permits, etc. How well versed are you on the subject of firearms and gun rights?

In addition to that legal gun owners are statistically more law abiding than the average unarmed citizen: they have to be to pass the NICS check and 4473 background check form to legally purchase a gun.

And of course, none of that is to mention the fact that someone else committing a crime does not give the government reason to take away the Constitutional rights of law abiding citizens.

Additionally, a multi-year study across all 50 states found that gun ownership is not a statistical predictor of firearm homicides:

I don't care about gun crime specifically, I care about all crime. With the exception of several big cities (most of which have strict gun control laws), the US is extremely safe.

You don't see any correlation between gun ownership and high gun crime in America?

I'm not interested in guns personally, but I do think second amendment rights are paramount to liberty. I think if reciprocity for things like gay marriage existed (before the supreme court ruling), they should absolutely extend to second amendment rights, which frankly should be recognized by each state's own laws anyway.
