So the bottom line is, lack of interest ? People aren't interested, and don't vote, and if they do vote, it's for politicians with "other" agendas, not necessarily what the people vote for. But here's the thing, people can see their country changing, they do hear about laws being added or changed, that do effect daily lives. So either they approve of the changes, or are scared of speaking out, both options are terrible.

I hate to say it but this is true. After Trudeau got elected, I actually heard a friend say "It's so cool we have a superstar Prime Minister" I was like "Dude...are you serious?!?" I love my country but I'm concerned where it's headed. Odd thing to say but, I hope Trudeau screws up so bad (he's well on his way), that people wake up and become less apathetic about politics and the leaders of this country.

It's hard to say what the majority wants. Ideally, people would vote for candidates who pledge to carry out policies they support, however people are so apathetic in most places (Canada ESPECIALLY!) that the majority of people don't really research what the people they vote for believe in, and once they're in office, they're not politically involved or interested enough to keep up with what they're doing. I hear so many Canadians swear that most Canadians don't support Trudeau's policies toward borders and refugees, but if that's the case, you've got to wonder why he was elected in the first place. Either this is what the majority want, or it's not what they want, but they're too apathetic to do anything about it.

Can the west be saved and if so then how? That's the real question. Honestly I don't think so, I think it will be up to Asian countries to stand up against Islam. The west, the greatest good the world has ever known is a dying thing.

I don't know why trudeau wants possible terrorists coming into this beautiful country maybe he wants it to be a shit hole like syria, iraq, afghanistan (ect)
