I remember you once mentioned that you attended/interacted with a Mormon school in a livestream. What was your experience with that like (if it's not too personal)?
Yeah, I've seen that but to be honest that seems to be somewhat dying off with the younger generation as a lot of our high schools are way more diverse with thought and shit like the internet is also just making us more accepting than they have been in the past. But it does make me sad when I see other Mormons being condescending. Guess there are ass holes in every group of people there is.
Bummer. Sorry that wasn't a good experience. I graduated from BYU and loved interacting with my non-Mormon friends while I was there, but I am sad to admit I also noticed more self-righteous Mormons than I would've expected. Hope those experiences don't color your perception of Mormons too badly.
I love hearing about religion I find it so interesting a video like that would be cool.
To be honest, it wasn't a very positive experience overall. I have some friends who are Mormon and they're great people, super friendly and the nicest guys you could imagine, but on the whole, the Mormons I encountered were very closed-off, condescending, and even downright rude once they found out I wasn't Mormon myself. There are also a lot of other issues with Mormon culture that I experienced during my time at BYU, and although it's kind of out of the scope of my channel, Mormonism is something I've considered covering in a video for quite some time.
