Hi Roaming, how are you?

A strange thought: Many of the new authoritarian gtoups today have no authority figure: no one seems to lead Antifa, BLM, alt-right, intersectionality. (Even ISIS is only loosely connected to Al-Bagdadi, ISIS inspired terrorists don't seem to act upon command) Yet they all know exactly what to think, say, do, or fight against. Does that make them anarcho-authoritarian? Is this a new kind of internet age group think, where the public is quick to set straying sheeps back to the right path?

Thanks!

asaf, it's true that sometimes the authority behind the money is not always clear. that's why you have to follow the trail. many of the big money people want to stay in the shadows. they don't want it to be known what they are up to. i think though, that a lot of these organizations like antifa would fall apart without financial backing. money is t he lifeblood that keeps them in business, so to speak.

The money trail works strangely - people and organizations pay activists who are already active, so the authority of the money is not always clear (though, there are stories of people who are just hired to riot)

and yes, Roaming is missing. sad...

asaf, if you really want to know who the authority figures are behind these groups, follow the money trail. ... i don't know if roaming ever looks here anymore. she never comments on anyone's posts. i guess she's just really busy these days.
