Disney is going all in on the live-action remakes of its 80s and 90s animation hits. This week we learned that Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
Very excited to see the expansion of their princesses of color. Next step: more inclusive and empowering storylines like, say, Moana, sans Prince Charming.

Before their win, Rapinoe took a knee during the national anthem in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and said there was no way she would visit the White House if they won.
