When more women lead, we all win
In September, I am thrilled to be co-hosting an exciting event, the Women's Leadership Online Summit: Leading Change at Work and Beyond. We brought together a powerful and diverse group of 30 women business leaders, authors, and social justice advocates to educate, equip and inspire women to expand their leadership capacity.
During the Summit you’ll hear from some of the most innovative social justice leaders who I respect and admire including Patrisse Khan Cullors, Teresa C. Younger, Maria Teresa Kumar, Vien Truong, Angela Glover Blackwell, Gina Clayton-Johnson and Glenn Harris. They will be sharing their practical insights, tips, and practices to help you grow your influence and build organizational support for women’s leadership. There’s also a lot of good insight from the business leaders and coaches who are presenting so I urge you to check out the whole line up.
I’m also excited to share advice on a topic I’ve received countless questions over the years: mentorship. In my session, Dear Sister: How to Be and Find an Exceptional Mentor you’ll learn how to develop great mentoring relationships, no matter which side you fall on. I’m looking forward to sharing all the lessons I’ve learned throughout my career.
Over the last months, I’ve interviewed community organizers, influencers, executives and experts and have learned so much from them all. I hope that you’ll join me for the Women’s Leadership Online Summit and be part of this important movement calling on women from all sectors, all generations, and all countries to step into greater roles of influence and to create a more just and equitable world.
