Anthony Kennedy Retires: How Should Trump Proceed?
His picks are all conservative judges. It's up to the democrats if they want to challenge the nominations. Their blue wave looks faltering to even make a dent after November.
McConnell and company will probably be receiving the same blocking they did when Scalia died during Obama's term.
In the senate, senior democrats now invoke the McConnell's doctrine of not doing any confirmation hearings on election years so could stall until next year.

@Saltz @daveelli The Supreme Court has taken so much power upon itself in the last 10-20 years that it is unfortunately becoming THE political power in America. When the Constitution isn't what these opinions are based upon, but rather a justices own political leanings, our Constitutional Republic is in danger. I have really enjoyed listening to the "More Perfect" podcast from Radiolab as of late. They do a good job with covering the Supreme Court cases that have shaped our nation, and shown exactly where the crux of the SCOTUS' power began.
Jon Saltzman said: That's true Dave, but if you read the opinions of the Liberal Justices lately you'll see that the Constitution is secondary to ideology. A constitutional first approach is more likely to come from a Conservative.
