The Intellectual Dark Web: Episode 2 - The Exile of Heather Heying

Heather Heying is a member of the Intellectual Dark Web. Here is some of her story.

Hello everyone. This is another volume in a series covering the Intellectual Dark Web. In each video, I will highlight a particular member of this group.

This video is about Professor Heather Heying. She is an evolutionary biologist who was recently exiled from the Evergreen State College.

In this video I highlight a bit of her past and present, what makes her dangerous to cultural authoritarians and what she brings to the Intellectual Dark Web.

This video is a bit long. I had to cover some more ground this time and address some questions about the group. The following videos should just be quick highlights of each member.

Also, take a shot every time I butcher a professor's name or pronounced Weinstein differently at separate times.

Had some editing issues. The “M’s” in my in-video texts weren’t rendering.

Should be out tonight. Y’all will like Jonathan Haidt!

I will be out this Saturday. I’m running into the problem of these videos running too long but I want to make sure I explain every member thoroughly.

Maybe I’ll make a part 1 and 2

Also, had a conversation with some guy on YouTube saying that Christina Hoff Sommers is a rift wing demagogue. She’s a liberal Clinton supporter. Smh

Been immersed with Crowder and Shapiro lately. Thanks for putting the spotlight on these intellectuals

It will be out this week. Eric Weinstein came up with this term. Apparently he’s insanely intelligent and he like the pomp and circumstance of the group.

I believe it’s a loosely based group that emphasizes their ideas, free speech and expression over their “membership.”

When I get to Jonathan Haidt, I’ll get to one of the Foundational principles of the IDW. HIS insight is very much in line with what Political Storm is doing.

Next will be Christina Hoff Sommers and then Camille Paglia. Sommers is featured as a member whereas Paglia isn’t. Her ideology puts her in the club but she’s so fiercely independent, she probably refuse to be in any group. Paglia will be a tough nut to crack because she’s so unorthodox that she’s the epitome of contrarianism. She’s a radical 2nd wave Demosthenes who identifies as transgender but believes there are only 2 genders. Her field is in art and literature but she HATES post modernism. She was there when the priests of postmodernism came over to America and found them trite and lacking intellectually.

She’s also a fast and aggressive talker... she’s a freight train.

Still waiting for it Bored! meanwhile I like the x men comparison. I wonder if any of them has commented on this new specific group we're lumping them all into now? Has anyone provided their thoughts about it?
