I really enjoyed my conversation with Hilary Schwartz who is a Political Storm contributor and was a strong voice for Hillary Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign. First, I asked her about her background, where she grew up.
Interestingly, she took a hiatus from her comedy career to help her mother (Carol Schwartz) write a book about her life, her struggles and eventual political career(school board, councilwoman, mayoral candidate) in Washington D.C. The book is titled: Quite A Life, From Defeat To Defeat And Back.
Hilary and I went on to discuss how she came of age politically, what she thinks would be different about America, and how her travels in the "flyover states" as a comedian from New York, changed her views.
At the end of our talk, i realized how long we'd gone on - time just flew by. I hope you enjoy our conversation. If you get a chance, check out some of Hilary's comedy on You Tube.
