1 BIG THING: The Kavanaugh Quandary

U.S. President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh now has three women accusing him of sexual assault: Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, Julie Swetnick. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was tapped to do a probe on the case. In light of this, Trump stated, "You can be somebody that was perfect your entire life and somebody could accuse you of something...and you're automatically guilty."

2 Juanita's Lament

Juanita Broaddrick also wants the FBI to do a probe on her longstanding allegations that former President Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her in 1978. Broaddrick alleged that the Democrats didn't give her claim the same attention they gave to the ones by Ford, Ramirez, and Swetnick against Kavanaugh.

Trump's relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un seems to be going well. The two reportedly want to work together in denuclearizing the Korean peninsula. Trump revealed that he exchanged letters with Kim. "And then we fell in love, okay? No, really...he wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters."

After being sued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for allegedly misleading investors over a plan to take Tesla private, Elon Musk negotiated a "relatively light penalty" of $20 million. He also has to give up being Tesla chairman for three years and is banned from tweeting about Tesla news. However, he gets to remain on the board and retain his role as Tesla CEO.

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump is on a solo trip to Africa covering Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, and Egypt. She is there to check on some projects, which include promoting nutrition in children.
