Just as news broke that Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a "journal keeper," having kept his calendars and planners from his high school years, the opposition knew they were about to lose. Kavanaugh can prove he was too busy, and not even in town, to attend the party where Christine Blasey Ford alleges Kavanaugh tried to rape her.
Not only can Kavanaugh prove he was not at the party he claims he does not remember, none of his accuser's so-called witnesses remember the party, either. Ford's claims have quickly proven to be completely unfounded and as flimsy as a syrup-soaked pancake.
However, the democratic senators trying to block Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination are not quick to admit defeat. They have dug up someone willing to be a second accuser. She claims to have been a victim during her and Kavanaugh's college years.
There is a prayer from Scripture that will take Kavanaugh's accusers to the highest court in the universe--the court of the God, the righteous judge.
"Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me! Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help...Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life! Let them be turned back and disappointed who devise evil against me...Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them! For without cause they hid their net for me; without cause they dug a pit for my life. Let destruction come upon him when he does not know it! And let the net that he hid ensnsare him; let him fall into it--to his destruction!" (Psalm 35:1-8, ESV)
Kavanaugh's accusers are clearly devising any plan they can to stop him. We must take him in prayer before the One who will judge rightly on his behalf.
