Indian Grandmothers Prove It's Never Too Late to Go Back to School

Many Indian women missed out on an education, but for one group of grandmothers, aged between 60 and 90 years old, the dream of going to school is finally becoming a reality.

Aajibaichi Shala is a school for grandmothers on the outskirts of Mumbai. It was set up in 2016, after some of the women in the village complained they couldn't take part in public readings during religious festivals. The 39 women, most of whom are widows, have lessons every afternoon between 2pm and 4pm. The women say getting an education has changed their lives, and made their families proud.
