The John Paul Dejoria departed Costa Rica

The John Paul Dejoria departed Costa Rica on June 22nd and arrived in Panama yesterday.
The ship cleared Panamanian customs and immigration without issue and given a one year cruising permit.

The crew got footage yesterday of juvenile Hammerheads being landed from fishing boats without fins and heads contrary to Panama rules.

Today the crew are busy cleaning a beach on Isla Gobernadora and the next few days are clearing ghost nets and other discarded fishing gear from Isla Ladrones.

The ship will be at Panama city on the 4th July and for a few days after to collect packages, change some crew and top up fuel.

All is good with the ship and crew.
