We are very proud to have added Sumaira Chowdhury from UNICEF to our group of distinguished presenters at the GCP Conference.

Sumaira will participate in our Pecha Kucha presentation format and host a dynamic and interactive Q and A station during the afternoon.

Her experience as an entrepreneur with extensive social impact experience working in Eastern and Southern Africa and South Asia

will compliment our impressive group of change agents who will speak about innovation and change at the GCP conference.

About Sumaira Chowdhury

Sumaira Chowdhury is a Partnerships Manager in UNICEF’s Global Philanthropy team in Geneva. She has worked with UNICEF for nearly 12 years, previously in child protection in Mozambique, monitoring and evaluation in India, and district programme co-ordination in Kenya. In what feels like another lifetime, she was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney in New York. Sumaira is a national of Bangladesh.
She holds a BA in International Relations from Wellesley College and an MA in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. As a lifelong traveler, she wishes she could join all the IWitness visits!
