We live in a world where our vital elements for life are polluted--water and air. Sad fact: 1 in 10 people on Earth lack access to clean and safe water, but now there may be a solution to this problem.
Thanks to artist AP Verheggen who invented SunGlacier, a device designed to draw water from the air. It is comprised of a power unit and a water-making unit. The water-making unit draws power from it's sister unit to cool air. When water condenses on the metal chamber, clean water is harvested.
The team who designed this device were invited by the Dutch Ministry of Defence to the Sahara Desert to try it out. It was a tough process but it produced water, even in the driest conditions on Earth.
