Environmental Triple Crown in Togo Africa; Young People, Planting & Poverty Turned to Prosperity

Togo Africa is creating an Environmental Triple Crown: Educating 2,000 young people, planting 5,000 trees and transforming poverty to prosperity.

The model is as simple as it is brilliant.

West African Earth Guardian Crew in Togo is connecting with youth, supporting a healthy environment and raising the tide from poverty to prosperity.

Through an "environmental bootcamp" the goal is to train 2,000 young persons on environmental education and plant 5,000 trees in Togo by the end of 2017.

Q: How will they reach their goal?

A: Educate 2,000 youth across 5 localities, training 400 youth and planting 1,000 trees per locality.

Q: How will they raise the tide from poverty to prosperity?

A: Trees planted will be fruit bearing, cashew trees for example, and will enable localities to harvest their fruits, take produce to market and use their earnings to pay for things such as education and healthcare.

Every trainee, every tree and every transaction matters.

Educate. Plant. Prosper.

We celebrate you, Togo Earth Guardians!
