So tired of the pro-fossil economic argument. It's just not backed by facts. Renewables provide way more jobs. Not to mention reduced costs due to breathing cleaner air (38,000 premature deaths due to diesel exhaust every year), cleaner water, and a stable climate!
I'm confused by the pro-pipeline side. Construction of the pipeline will bring in workers for a short period of time which may lead to a boost in the local economy, but again, it would only be short term. What is the long term benefit?
